Requirements

Education

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Public Health and Informatics, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong relevant experience in health science, health information management systems may be considered.

Experience

  • At least 7 years

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT project management, system implementation, or a similar role in the healthcare sector, preferably with TB related programs and health information management systems.
  • Proven experience in managing liaison and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, technical teams, and program implementers.
  • Strong understanding of information and communication technology (ICT) for health, including data management systems of MoHFW, Bangladesh.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Bangla.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel within Bangladesh as needed.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies for project management is desirable.
  • Experience of working with TB information management systems is desirable.

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is to act as a liaison between the NTP and project teams, ensuring smooth rollout and operation of the project’s digital platform. The ICT Advisor will provide technical support, coordinate with various stakeholders, and contribute to the effective implementation of ICT solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the focal contact between the NTP office and the project team, facilitating communication and collaboration among stakeholders like NTP officials, MIS personnel, and technical teams.
  • Represent the project in meetings and workshops related to the TB information system.
  • Support the development of the concept note and roll-out plan for the digital platform strengthening the TB diagnostic network.
  • Guide requirement gathering, platform design, development, and implementation of the TB digital system within the NTP framework.
  • Provide technical guidance for integrating the digital platform with existing NTP systems and workflows.
  • Provide technical guidance to monitor the performance and utilization of the TB Information Management System.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating risks related to the digital platform implementation in the NTP diagnostic network.
  • Help document best practices and lessons learned to inform future ICT initiatives.

Duty Station: Head Office in Banani, Dhaka with occasional field visits as per project needs.
