JOB PURPOSE

This position will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality in user-centered tech-based solutions and providing business insights for BRAC’s Skills Development Programme. It will focus on using innovative strategies to improve the program’s effectiveness and increase its positive impact on the community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting human-centered design to understand field operations requires gathering insights and requirements
  • Designing and building the data model for the project’s field operations and structuring data effectively
  • Mining and visualizing data for behavioral and business insights using data analysis tools and techniques
  • Connecting various projects’ data models to create a real-time dashboard of SDP’s log frame by integrating data sources and developing visualization tools
  • Building staff capacity to use newly implemented systems by preparing training modules and organizing training sessions to ensure effective usage
  • Integrating SDP’s database with other BRAC programmes by aligning data structures
  • Contributing to project planning and business development by ensuring technical aspects are well-integrated into broader project goals through collaboration and strategic input
  • Assisting in the preparation of Terms of Reference (TOR) for external consultants by gathering necessary information and ensuring clarity and completeness
  • Contributing to the team’s budget preparation by providing technical input and ensuring alignment with project goals
  • Capturing the team’s learnings on designing, deploying, and scaling technology across SDP projects by documenting experiences and best practices for future reference

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
