Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

As a Business Development Manager within our Garments Industry, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, expanding market reach, and establishing strong relationships with buyers. Your strategic vision, combined with your deep understanding of the garments industry, will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for revenue generation and market penetration. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis and Strategy Development:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities.
  • Develop strategic business plans and objectives aligned with company goals to penetrate new markets and segments.

Buyer Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Identify and engage with potential clients, build strong relationships, and understand their needs and preferences.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable deals.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with buyers to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and explore upsell opportunities.

Product Development and Innovation:

  • Collaborate with the product development team to understand market demands and contribute to the creation of innovative garment designs and features.
  • Gather feedback from clients and market trends to continuously improve product offerings and stay ahead of the competition.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Drive sales activities to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing policies to optimize sales performance.
  • Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and generate regular reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, support, and encouragement to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving business objectives.
