Responsibilities & Context

  • Sales Planning and Strategy Development: (i) Developing sales strategies and setting targets aligned with the company’s goals for the territory assigned to him/ her. (ii) Follow up closely with the Global Buyer team on the nominations/ approval. (iii) Work with the respective buying agents/ factories to develop and secure the business. (iv) Planning and prioritizing sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims. Customer Acquisition and Retention: (i) Identifying business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry. (ii) Establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects. (iii) Schedule/ execute meetings in a more effective manner. (iv) Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; and service improvements.
  • Sales Process Management: (i) Managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals with assigned customers. (ii) Handling negotiations and closing agreements with customers. (iii) Preparing and delivering appropriate presentations on products and services in regular basis. (iv) Creating detailed proposals for clients and ensuring all sales documents are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: (i) Keeping abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. (ii) Gathering market and customer information to provide insights and feedback to management.
  • Sales Reporting: Preparing daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other members of the sales team, technical experts, and other supporting teams.
  • Achieving Targets: Meeting or exceeding sales targets set by the company.
  • Continuous Learning: Continuously improving through feedback and learning opportunities.
  • Customer Focus: Focusing on building relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Adherence to Policies: Following company policies and procedures regarding pricing, delivery, terms of sales, and group’s code of conduct.
  • Product Knowledge: Acquiring and Maintaining knowledge of products and services offered by the company.
  • Overall, the Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth through effective sales techniques, excellent customer service, and maintaining strong relationships with clients within the assigned client base.
