Responsibilities & Context
Job Context:
The ideal candidate who will be selected for the position mentioned above will be responsible for proactively handling Commercial (Import) related activities of the Group.
Job Responsibilities:
•Leading/ working in the Import Team of the Group.
•Ensuring that all Import-related documents are prepared on time.
•Communicating with Shipping Line/Forwarding Agents/C & F Agents and other organizations related to Import documentation.
•Archiving and filling up all necessary LC documents as and when required.
•Preparing all the necessary documents for the Banks after receiving the Bank Intimation.
•Performing Import-related general correspondence with Factory Concerns, Freight Forwarders, C&F agents and Bank Officers.
•Following up on each LC application with the banks and handing over every necessary document to the UD department.
•Preparing the Import Statements.
•Maintaining good relations with all government institutions.
•Any other tasks assigned by the management.
