We are excited to announce an opportunity for a seasoned and highly analytical Business / Investment Analyst to join our Business Development Team. In this pivotal role, you will identify, evaluate and execute business development and investment opportunities across various industries. You will work under the direct supervision of the Deputy Managing Director (DMD) stationed in Hong Kong, collaborating closely with our Bangladesh Operations team to explore new and promising business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive research on potential business targets.
- Perform industry analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investments or business ventures.
Financial Modeling:
- Develop detailed financial models to support investment decisions.
- Perform valuation analysis using various methodologies.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess risk and potential returns.
Relationship Building:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry experts and advisors.
- Network with potential business targets to source new opportunities.
Strategic Guidance:
- Provide strategic advice to portfolio companies on operational improvements.
- Assist in the development and execution of growth initiatives.
- Support portfolio companies on operational investments, growth initiatives and value creation plans.
