  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla.
  • Basic knowledge in online ERP software.

Job Context

We are looking for an enthusiastic Transport Officer who will be responsible for management of Dana Group whole transport operations and follow up requirements with satisfy, driver performance, vehicle maintenance, operate online ERP software, workshop related purchased and other operations related jobs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the transportation of Dana Group.
  • Developing and implementing transportation and security policies, procedures and standards.
  • Ensuring that transportation services are cost-effective, efficient and reliable with ensure that Dana Workshop related maintenance and purchased and manage vendor/s.
  • Maintaining and managing the organization’s fleet of vehicles, including maintenance, repairs, and insurance.
  • Conduct safety & Security related activities e.g. daily checklist, Conduct and arrange Safety workshop/briefing for driver on monthly basis, Spot Vehicle checking etc.
  • Daily monitor of vehicle movement and calculation of drivers pay in the DHRM System and arrange to pay daily fuel payment through system.
  • Planning and coordinating transportation routes and schedules to meet the organization’s needs.
  • Managing and supervising transportation staff, including drivers and support personnel.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, such as safety and environmental standards.
  • Managing budgets and financial resources related to transportation & Security.
  • Collaborating with other departments and external stakeholders, such as vendors (workshop /transport), customers, and government agencies.
  • Conducting performance reviews and evaluations of transportation and security staff.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest transportation and security technologies and trends.
  • Analyzing transportation data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in Administrative departmental activities as and required basis.
  • Management may assign any other job as and required basis.
