Additional Requirements

  • Those who have the Diploma in PGDHRM will get preference.
  • At least 1 year working experience in the area of Human Resources Management.
  • Good understanding of current best/standard practice in HRM.
  • Knowledge of the operational and compliance requirements of Rohingya Response or Emergency Projects will be added advantage.
  • Good knowledge on record keeping.
  • Good reporting and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in team, respect team decisions and support multi-cultural team members.
  • Must have a ‘hands on’, practical mentality, be self-driven and very self-motivated.
  • Must be well organized.
  • Very high attention to detail.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Purpose:

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for supporting the HR team to ensure highly competent, enthusiastic and diverse human resources are recruited and provided with professional Human Resources support, promoting the princsiples and practices of equality across the organisation. The HR Assistant will also assist and support the HR Team to ensure proper filing, documentation and recruitment process.

Main duties & responsibilities:

To assist in the recruitment of highly competent and diverse human resources who will make a positive contribution to the organisation, using professional and transparent recruitment procedures, competency framework and incorporating positive actions to promote diversity. Including, but not limited to:

  • Working with HR team to prepare and implement a comprehensive Human Resources recruitment plan to support delivery of organization’s strategic plan.
  • Ensuring an effective and innovative communication strategy to attract high quality candidates from diverse group, who have the competencies and experience required to meet the organization’s needs.
  • Providing support in ensuring consistent and transparent recruitment procedures, incorporating positive actions to promote diversity, ensuring full participation from line managers.
  • Ensure systematic, professional and complete documentation process is maintained for each recruitment to clearly demonstrate basis for all decisions made.
  • Ensuring all successful and unsuccessful candidates are communicated in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensuring personal file is opened for new employee and volunteer, updated regularly using a checklist and organized in a systematic manner.
  • Ensuring the contract is made in line with the Concern’s financial policy and Bangladesh tax and other laws, consulting with Administration and Finance colleagues where required and incorporating programme participants protection policy.
