• Practical Proven working experience on government projects will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years working experience in the construction industry.
• Field experience with maintaining construction equipment like concrete batching plants, excavators, etc. is a must.

Responsibilities & Context

• Design and Planning: Mechanical Systems Design: You’ll be involved in designing HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, plumbing systems, fire protection systems, and other mechanical systems for buildings.
• Energy Efficiency: Implementing energy-efficient designs and systems that comply with building codes and standards.
• Collaboration: Working with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to ensure mechanical systems integrate seamlessly with overall building design.
• Construction and Implementation:
• Project Management: Overseeing the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems during construction. Overseeing construction equipment like a batching plant, excavator, roller, generator, etc.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring that mechanical systems meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Problem Solving: Addressing any challenges or issues that arise during the construction phase related to mechanical systems.
• Maintenance and Operation:
• Lifecycle Support: Providing support for the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems post-construction.
• Upgrades and Retrofits: Evaluating and recommending upgrades or retrofits to improve system efficiency or performance over time.
• Compliance: Ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
• Technical Expertise:
• Technical Analysis: Conducting analysis, simulations, and calculations to optimize system performance.
• Innovation: Keeping abreast of new technologies and innovations in mechanical engineering that can be applied to construction projects.
