Summary

Education

MBBS and MD/FCPS with Minimum 4 years’ experience/training in Pediatric & Neonatology Department.

Additional Requirements

Medical degree in Pediatric & Neonatology and the successful completion of a residency and fellowship.
A license and certification to practice neonatology.
A willingness to work long hours and remain on-call for emergency situations.
The ability to work under pressure and stress.
Strong communication skills and patience and empathy towards patients and their families.
Strong dedication and motivation for helping newborn infants.

Responsible to implement total clinical activities of the Pediatric & Neonatology department under a Consultant.
Responsible to manage and support all related clinical activities in the department in absence of consultant.
Reporting of clinical activities and submit report to the Co-ordinator.
To supervise the patient scheduling, medical records and data entry.
Service delivery through good relations with patients, respect for the patient’s right, good relations with colleagues; and observance of professional ethical obligations.
An adequate assessment of the patient’s condition, based on the history and physical examination.
To provide for appropriate investigations and appropriate treatment and to keep clear, accurate, medical records about the relevant clinical findings.
