Responsibilities & Context
A renowned 100% export-oriented knit composite company in the country is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly capable professional for the position of Senior Deputy General Manager for the washing plant located in Gazipur.
- *Key Responsibilities:*
– Prepare and plan the daily schedule for garment washing, delegating tasks based on workload and priority.
– Organize and structure production flow, plan shifts, implement cost-effective methods, and ensure departmental efficiency.
– Ensure the proper use of chemicals in the washing plant.
– Maintain high standards of washing quality.
– Develop samples with the required wash/treatment, providing several options as standards.
– Coordinate with relevant departments to maintain recipe records.
– Ensure productivity and quality of products, and maintain key performance indicators (KPI) and time and action plans (TNA).
– Manage bulk washes, garment washing, finishing, coordination, and sampling.
– Possess knowledge of washing machines, chemical store handling, and development of new washes.
– Handle critical situations and provide technical support to the team.
– Analyze data to improve productivity and minimize rejection rates.
– Communicate with customers to meet their requirements effectively.
