Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager, Accounts & Finance will be responsible for establishing strong control over inventory, store operations, and material movement to optimize production. This role includes overseeing production functions, introducing financial metrics, preparing management reports, standardizing financial operations, and supporting marketing efforts with customer profitability analysis. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for monitoring daily accounts operations and preparing monthly management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong control over the process of inventory, store operations, and material movement to enhance production efficiency.
  • Manage production functions and integrate financial information to determine SKU-wise product costs, production costs, and overhead costs.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Prepare and present reports on management accounts status at fixed intervals for operational needs and management consideration.
  • Monitor day-to-day accounts operations, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end finalization of accounts.
  • Prepare the consolidation of balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, financial statements, and abstracts of annual reports and budgets.
  • Provide timely monthly customer profitability analysis to support the business’s marketing efforts.
  • Assist in driving sales projections and ensuring timely liability payments.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure their accuracy and timeliness.
