Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop IE process Standardization across manufacturing units to drive synergistic ally with the support of floor IE’s.
  •  Validate manpower cadre for manufacturing operations to optimize the capacity as compared to the capability.
  •  Minimizing non-value-added activities, and loss time through proper execution of IE function across the Unit/ Factory Improve the skills of production people by giving proper IE training.
  • Improve the skills of production people by giving proper IE training.
  • Review the production plan, Embellishment plan & cross-check all relevant details, and suggest modifications if any to the planning & P&D departments.
  • Guide floor IE’s and related department members to follow Quick change over time and ensure back-to-back feeding.
  • Guide the mechanical team to adjust special machines/ attachments/ folders for identification of special process requirements and improve/ change methods with the help of the Technical and production team.
  • Observe the plan weekly and suggest specialized lines for specialized products based on the manufacturing lines’ capabilities.
  • Guide floor IE’s to make work-station layout contain all operations & in case of deviation, balance the same as per standardized parameters.
  •  Monitoring & improving finishing and cutting efficiencies based on floor capacity requirements.
  • Working on achieving floor daily production plan and efficiency/ SAH targets during the initial stage of the learning curve.
  • Ensure IE improvements on man, machine, method, and materials with all teams·
  •  Any other assignments at the discretion of management.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Top Management.
