- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
- Experience in managing a team and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fund & Treasury Manager to lead our financial operations and ensure the efficient management of our loan portfolio. This person will play a pivotal role in minimising borrowing costs, maximising returns on our investments, and overseeing daily cash flows for our extensive network of field offices.
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage borrowings from commercial banks and other lending institutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimise borrowing costs through effective negotiation with lenders.
- Lead a team of fund management professionals in raising funds, managing liquidity, and ensuring optimal cash flow.
- Monitor daily cash movements across our regional and field offices, ensuring efficient and compliant financial transactions.
- Explore and evaluate high-yielding short-term and long-term investment opportunities for idle cash.
- Ensure monthly accounting of all entries related to bank loan and investments into the system timely and accurately.
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports on fund management activities, liquidity position, and investment performance.
- Develop and maintain annual budgets and financial projections for the microfinance programme.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements related to financial management and reporting.
- Maintain strong relationships with commercial banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
