Responsibilities & Context

1. Network Design and Implementation: Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN). Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, QoS). 2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Troubleshoot network issues, provide technical support, and perform network maintenance. Conduct network fault investigations, hardware and software maintenance, and repairs. 3. Security: Implement security measures to protect network infrastructure. Establish and enforce policies to ensure the security and integrity of the network. 4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures. Generate reports on network performance, outages, and other metrics. 5. Collaboration: Work with other network team members, software developers, and external vendors. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior Engineer. 6. Research and Development: Stay current with new technologies and industry trends. Propose and implement network improvements and optimizations.
