Requirements

Education

  • M Com/ MBA in Accounting/ Finance from any UGC approved reputed University.
  • CA / CMA Qualified or partly qualified will get preference.

Experience

  • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Shipping, Freight forwarding, Group of Companies, Chemical Industries

Additional Requirements

  • Age at least 35 years
  • The applicant should have proven working experience in Finance & Accounts department.
  • Sound knowledge on VAT & Taxation, Account finalization, Vendor management & Bank transactions handling, Invoicing, Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable, Financial Reporting, Forecasting & Cost Control.
  • Proficiency in the use of Office Management (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point).
  • Ability to work as a strong team player.
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexible to work long hours.
  • Needed strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Should be smart, honest, sincere and punctual.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop, design, and implement a professional accounting system for group concerns.
  • Lead the accounts team efficiently.
  • Prepare and present concern-wise financial statements and financial reports to the management.
  • Analyze the profitability of group concerns against the investments and guide management about the feasibility of the investments.
  • Continuously drive for developing current accounting systems of the company.
  • Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports of all the concerns and submit them to the management.
  • Responsible for monthly business performance analysis, reporting, review costing, and managing budget.
  • Should have adequate knowledge on Import, Export L/C, B2B L/C, Proceed realization, Loan Management & Adjustment.
  • Prepare monthly bank/loan reconciliation statements. Must have sound knowledge of banking, TAX, VAT, and other regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and ensure day-to-day Accounts activities are properly recorded in Books of Accounts.
  • Liaison with cross-functional team, sections, department as per business requirements·
  •  Ensure proper Fixed Asset Management with Necessary Depreciation, Maintain Asset Register, Inventory Management as well as Cash Management as per business requirement·
  • Any other job as assigned by the management from time to time.
