Requirements

  • Strong collaborative communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to develop and communicate a common vision among diverse partners and lead a multidisciplinary team.
  • Comprehensive experience in drafting research, studies, or analytical reports, along with conducting Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs)strong proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Profound knowledge of different development programmes, such as education, skills development, and humanitarian programmes.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Bengali and English.

About ISEC Project:

  • With the support of Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and in collaboration with ILO and UNHCR, BRAC is implementing a new skills development and livelihoods project called “Improving Skills and Economic Opportunities in Cox’s Bazar (ISEC).” The aim of the project is the economic empowerment of the host community and the Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar district of Bangladesh through gender-sensitive, market-relevant skill development. Component #2 of the ISEC project focuses on bolstering the economic empowerment and participation of various groups- especially women, people with disabilities, adolescents, and youths – within the host community of Cox’s Bazar. A key objective of the project is to improve the employability and economic resilience of over twenty thousand individuals from the host community in Cox’s Bazar.

JOB PURPOSE

  • This position will be responsible for ensuring quality and timely reporting for internal and external stakeholders, utilizing MIS and M&E systems to analyze project data and identify trends. This role will contribute to technical progress and annual reports, produce ad-hoc reports, and prepare presentation files for various committees. This position will also coordinate with different departments (MEAL, Communications, and Finance & Accounts) to integrate relevant data into reports, ensuring comprehensive and accurate project

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure quality and timely reporting for internal and external consumption by leveraging high-quality data and actionable information from multiple sources.
  • Utilize project MIS and M&E systems to generate quality reports. Analyze data and performance indicators to identify trends and insights, creating visual representations to effectively communicate project results and impact.
  • Contribute extensively to the technical progress reports and annual reports of the project by synthesizing findings and providing strategic insights.
  • Produce presentation files for project advisory committees (PAC), project implementation committee (PIC), project technical committees (PTC), and other management-level meetings by compiling relevant data and crafting compelling visual materials.
  • Prepare various concept notes, TORs, lessons-learned documents, activity documentation, and event reports by outlining key details and insights to convey project activities and outcomes effectively.
  • Develop and update templates for reporting and documentation by creating standardized formats and incorporating feedback for clarity and completeness.
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee document and report trackers by establishing organized systems to monitor and update project documentation efficiently.
  • Coordinate meetings before drafting major reports (such as technical progress reports and annual reports) by scheduling and organizing discussions to gather necessary input and insights.
  • Establish and maintain a strong coordination channel within internal departments to integrate relevant data into reports, as required, by facilitating regular communication and data sharing.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
