Responsibilities & Context
- Providing technical advice to production staff, product development, quality control & marketing staff.
- Daily developing new color by paint pigment recipe.
- Operating knowledge about spectrophometer including computer software system.
- Colour judgement capability both visual & numerical by using CCI (Color Computer Inspection).
- Using reference samples to identify color requirements & maintain CMC value within standard level.
- Ensuring color fastness, accurate color production, stability & durability of products.
- Using color measuring equipment, light source to ensure color reliability in pigments.
- Controlling sample & bulk production within same quality standards.
- Weekly sub material and chemical inventory report preparation.
- Cleaning, maintenance & calibration of spectrophometer and other instruments of analysis lab.
- Ensure 5s & safety and prepare KYT based on section risk assessment.
- Ensure product quality by standard operating procedure (SOP).
- Monthly PPE distribution, monitoring & control.
- Customer claim analysis & report making.
- Keeping up to date with trends and innovations within the profession.
- Producing innovative solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Conduct training to subordinates & workers.
- Any other tasks assign by the department manager.
