Requirements

Education

Minimum educational requirement is a Bachelor’s degree (Honors). However, candidates with an HSC qualification are also encouraged to apply, provided they have relevant experience in the field.

  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales role.
  • Strong understanding of the food and beverage industry, particularly snacks and food products.
  • Excellent communication negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Role Description” This is a full-time on-site role as a SR in the Food Sector (FMCG) at Mariners Group. As an SR, you will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to sales. Strong communication skills and ready sales abilities are essential for this role. We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The Sales Representative will play a key role in driving sales and expanding our market presence. This individual will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market reach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Present, promote, and sell products to both current and prospective customers.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, including sales forecasts and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and promote products.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
