Excellent knack on green screen, visual effects and mobile & desktop formats·
Strong understanding of file management, archiving and copyrights.
Excellent sense of pacing, timing, and storytelling through visuals.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Professional training certificates on video editing or storytelling will be an advantage·
A strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing work.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Flexibility to work on weekends or after hours, if necessary.
Passion for media and a keen interest in current events and storytelling.
Minimum 2 years” of experience as a video editor in a media or creative agency.
Responsibilities & Context
Edit video content for various platforms, including social media, website, and special projects·
Collaborate with the multimedia team to plan, storyboard, and produce engaging video content·
Ensure all videos are edited to the highest standards, with attention to detail in terms of visuals, audio, and graphics·
Manage and organize raw video files and finished products in a structured manner·
Stay updated with the latest video editing software, tools, and trends to ensure content is current and innovative.
Work closely with the social media team to optimize videos for various platforms and audiences.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to video production and editing.· Meet tight deadlines while maintaining the quality and integrity of the content.
Provide creative input during the pre-production and production stages to enhance video content.
Follow Ajker Patrika’s brand guidelines and editorial policies in all video content produced.
