Additional Requirements

  • At least Fifteen (15) years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions with a minimum of 5 plus years as a Head of HR or equivalent.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training and development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing departments and teams
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture relationship across departments
  • A proactive attitude and a passion for leading with integrity.
  • Through methodical attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

MJL Bangladesh PLC. (MJLBPLC) is a public limited company in the downstream petroleum sector of Bangladesh engaged in blending, importing, and distributing Mobil brand lubricants of ExxonMobil. We are looking for ambitious, proactive, self-motivated, and experienced professionals.

Role Purpose:

MJLBPLC is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Head of HR & Admin to join our dynamic team. In this leadership role, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources and administration, playing a vital role in our continued growth and success. Focus on the operational performance, by allocating resources efficiently and effectively to give an added value to the organization.

Job Description:

  • Provide leadership and direction for the HR and Admin teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Coordinate and supervise implementation of policies & procedures, provide consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation & benefits, training & development, organization development, employee relations, HR operation system, performance management, safety of the workforce, and other human resources issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
  • Directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource & administrative functions.
  • Oversee the administration of employee compensation and benefits.
  • Maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement strategies that attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Oversee all administrative functions, including building facilities management, and office operations, cafeteria management.
  • Provide logistics support, ensure safe workplace, and maintain a healthy work environment.
  • Stay abreast of HR trends and best practices, continuously improving HR & administrative processes.
