Responsibilities & Context
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments / Automobile / Furniture / Trading / Retail
Job Responsibilities:
- Clear concept of company VAT.
- Ensure regular VAT compliance as per government rules and laws.
- Conduct hearings, appeals, and tribunals, and finalize assessments for VAT authorities.
- Ensure timely payment of VAT, VDS, etc., as per government rules using appropriate forms/treasury challans.
- Manage relationships with VAT & Customs Circle/Division Office, Zone/Headhunter.
- Communicate with NBR to solve barriers related to company VAT issues.
- Maintain IRC-related documents, prepare reports, and submit them to the customs office.
- Ensure timely preparation and maintenance of all Musak forms (e.g., 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.6, 6.7, 6.8, 4.3, etc.), VAT registers, and other VAT papers.
- Ensure all VAT registers and records conform to VAT laws and are updated in a timely manner.
- Ensure the preparation of timely VAT Returns (9.1) and their submission to relevant authorities with due diligence.
