- Proven experience in administration and financial management issues.
- Proven experience working with the team and supporting them to implement financing and accounting principles
- Excellent computer operation skills including accounting software, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email, and internet browsing.
- To be gender-sensitive and to have sound knowledge of gender issues.
Responsibilities & Context
Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is implementing Future-oriented and high-quality education in disaster-prone areas of Bangladesh (SWAPNO) Project supported by NETZ Bangladesh BMZ Germany. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF is inviting applications to recruit project staff from qualified candidates.
- Good experience and knowledge in accounting data processing and report generating using Accounting software (Tally-ERP9/ Tally Prime).
- Individual Ability to facilitate internal and external Audit.
- Maintain books of Account through voucher, cashbook, General Ledger, etc.
- Knowledge about country Tax and VAT laws.
- Have a mentality to field visit from time to time and ensure education materials are used properly.
- Preparation of financial statements such as Balance sheet, Income Expenditure, Trail balance, Receive & payment for head offices as well as donor agencies.
- Ensure materials required as per need and requisition from the field and caring to field level.
- Have knowledge of multiyear budget preparation considering planning & implementation phase, cost-effective operation of project activities following set guidelines.
- Maintain records of all Tangible and intangible assets.
- Maintain cash and Bank Accounts properly.§ Maintain records of all assets and properties of the project properly.
- Maintain records of the store including receiving and issuing materials for the project.
- Individual Facilitated conducting internal and external Audits.
- Ensure financial control to maintain appropriate and timely reporting on disbursed funds.
- Ensure smooth functioning of the finance activities including budgetary control.
- Ensure procurement of materials as per organizational rules in consultation with the central office.
- Ensure all logistic support is on time.
- Systematic follow-up of the utilization of different materials and assets apart from the internal control mechanism.
- Ensure support for ineffective vehicle and motorcycle maintenance.
- Provide logistics for arranging different training meetings and workshops.
- Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of organizational procedures and guidelines with the financial and administrative framework.
- Good knowledge and practices to meet donor compliances.
- Ensure expenditures complies with the approved budget, and plan of action.
- Ability to work as a team player, contribute to programming activities, and improve team performance.
- Follow the organization’s Child Safeguarding, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Gender, and WB Policy.
Compensation & Other Benefits
Consolidated Tk. 25,000 per month and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
