Responsibilities & Context
Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer, and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 37 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Rights & Governance (R&G) is considered as one of the cross-cutting sectors of DAM dedicated toward the right-based developmental approach. DAM is going to implement the project “Enhancing Protection of Child Sex Trafficking Survivors in Bangladesh Project” in Dhaka, and Jashore district funded by the United States Department of State with the support of Freedom Fund and looking for the following position:
Project: Enhancing Protection of Child Sex Trafficking Survivors in Bangladesh Project
Location: Dhaka and Jashore
Reporting to: Team Leader (TL)

Objective: To coordinate and oversee the implementation of the project at the district level, ensuring the protection and rights of children, particularly those vulnerable to or affected by child sex trafficking.

Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Project Coordination:
Oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities within the district.
- Ensure alignment of project activities with overall project goals and objectives.
- 2. Team Management:
- Supervise and support the Social Mobilizers and other project staff in the district.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
- 3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local government officials, community leaders, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the project at district-level meetings and forums.
- 4. Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans to track project progress and impact.
- Prepare and submit detailed quantitative and qualitative reports on project activities, outcomes, and challenges.
- 5. Capacity Building:
- Identify training needs and organize capacity-building sessions for project staff, community members, and other stakeholders.
- Support the development of training materials and resources.
- 6. Advocacy and Awareness:
- Lead advocacy efforts to promote child protection policies and practices within the district.
- Coordinate awareness-raising campaigns on child sex trafficking and child rights.
- 7. Resource Management:
- Manage project resources effectively, ensuring budget adherence and optimal use of funds.
- Ensure timely procurement and distribution of project materials.
- 8. Child Protection:
- Ensure all project activities are conducted in line with child protection policies and standards.
- Identify and respond to cases of child sex trafficking and exploitation, coordinating with appropriate services and authorities.

Salary
Consolidated Salary: 40,000 BDT (consolidated) per month (Yearly 5% inflation)
