Privileges and scope of work will be defined by coordinator and should be approved by credentialing committee.
Privileges and performance should be evaluated periodically.
As a Specialist, he/she will be working under direct supervision and control of Consultants / Coordinator appointed in the specialty area, permanently or by rotation. Specialists have to do the roster duty like Sr. Registrar supervised and assigned by coordinator / Consultant.
He/she will not be permitted to practice in his/her specialty or any other specialty in any capacity outside the hospital.
He/she will not be permitted any attachment with other Hospitals, Nursing homes or Diagnostic Centers of any kind.
He/she is responsible to maintain discipline amongst subordinate staff and will be directly responsible for the quality of work.
He/she is to ensure teaching activities of Residents and Registrars.
He/she will not act in any manner that is likely to bring discredit to the Hospital or another Consultant colleague working in this Hospital.
