Responsibilities & Context
Job Summary:
The Executive/Senior Executive – Compliance will be crucial in ensuring that the company adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position will involve monitoring compliance activities, conducting audits, and guiding various departments to mitigate risks and promote ethical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure the company’s operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders.
Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies.
Audit & Monitoring:
Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Monitor and report on compliance issues and incidents.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during compliance audits and inspections.
Risk Management:
Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to enhance compliance controls.
Assist in the development and maintenance of a risk management framework.
Policy Development & Implementation:
Assist in the creation and revision of compliance policies and procedures.
Ensure policies are effectively communicated and implemented across the organization.
Provide training and support to employees on compliance-related matters.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities and findings.
Prepare and present compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
Document compliance breaches and follow up on corrective actions.
Training & Awareness:
Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance obligations and ethical standards.
Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior within the organization.
Conduct regular compliance awareness sessions and workshops.
