Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – HR & Admin will support the HR and Administration functions by leading and managing various HR activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a positive workplace environment. This role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, development, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection.

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the company.

Employee Relations:

Address and resolve complex employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to both employees and management.

Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and open communication channels.

Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and take appropriate actions based on feedback.

Performance Management:

Manage the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely and constructive feedback.

Work with department heads to set performance goals and monitor employee progress.

Develop and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.

Training & Development:

Identify training needs and create comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.

HR Policies & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

Regularly review and update HR policies to reflect changes in regulations and best practices.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Administrative Support:

Oversee daily administrative operations, including office management, facility maintenance, and vendor coordination.

Ensure efficient office procedures and systems are in place.

Manage administrative budgets and track expenses.

Employee Engagement:

Plan and execute employee engagement activities, events, and initiatives.

Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and implement action plans based on survey results.

Foster a culture of recognition and appreciation.
