Responsibilities & Context

This position holder will be responsible for assisting top management in delivering corporate advisory services.

The task areas will cover the issuance of Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and Bonds, among others.

His/her responsibilities will include the following tasks:

  • Oversee the entire process of launching new REITs, including market analysis, financial structuring, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies for REIT portfolio construction.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all REIT activities adhere to regulations.
  • Manage and optimize the performance of REIT portfolios by implementing effective asset management strategies.
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize property occupancy, rental income, and overall financial performance.
  • Develop long-term strategic plans and investment objectives for the REIT’s real estate portfolio, aligned with market conditions and investor expectations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with property investments, market volatility, regulatory changes, and economic fluctuations.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and analysis to ensure alignment with investment objectives and market conditions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective investors, property manager, valuer, trustee and regulators while providing them with regular updates and performance reports.
  • Prepare and present detailed investment reports and market analysis to stakeholders and board members.
  • Handle investor inquiries and provide detailed insights into portfolio performance and market trends.
  • Setting the strategic direction and risk management policies of REIT on acquisition, divestment or enhancement of assets in accordance with the stated investment strategy
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the real estate sector.
  • Analyze economic, demographic, and property market data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including property valuation, cash flow projections, and investment return analysis, to support strategic decision-making and investor relations
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, performance metrics, and budget forecasts for internal stakeholders and external investors.
  • Research and analyze bonds and other debt instruments to determine their value, risk, and return potential.
  • Lead the issuance of bonds, including planning, structuring, pricing, and placement.
  • Coordinate with investment banks, underwriters, and legal advisors to ensure successful bond offerings.
  • Develop and implement strategies for different types of bonds (e.g., corporate, municipal, green bonds) based on market demand and company objectives.
  • Ensure all bond issuance activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Prepare and submit required regulatory filings and disclosures in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for investors, providing updates on portfolio performance, financial results, and strategic initiatives.
  • Communicate investment strategies, market insights, and growth opportunities to stakeholders through presentations, meetings, and written reports.
  • Explore scope of forming joint ventures REIT with potential local and foreign sponsors, REIT Managers and Fund Managers
