Requirements

Education

Graduation in any discipline. Post-Graduation Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGHRM) and Train The Trainers (TTT) Certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • At least 2 years

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Sound knowledge of developing and implementing training evaluation frameworks to measure effectiveness.
  • Adaptability to changing training requirements and organisational needs.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Human Resources including 1 year experience in Human Capital Development (HCD), Organisational Development (OD), Talent Management and Training & Development (T&D).

Responsibilities & Context

Job Purpose: The Deputy Manager of Learning & Development will support capacity development within specific programmes by contributing to the design of training courses tailored to address identified learning needs and align with programme requirements. This includes ensuring that these efforts adhere to the overarching organizational strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist development of Training Needs Assessments (TNA) tools and conduct TNA as required, prepare reports, and share them with the programme for approval.
  • Develop and execute the training schedule and outline according to TNA and programme requirements and support creation of effective training modules and content.
  • Conduct Training of Trainers (ToT) for facilitators and follow up post-TOT.
  • Maintain liaison and regular communication with the relevant programme to identify further improvements in training modules and update facilitators accordingly.
  • Facilitate advanced-level training programmes and workshops both within BRAC and externally as needed, and contribute to the development of the annual Module and Training budget plans.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
