Responsibilities & Context
- Attending to the pre-production meeting and discuss about the critical operations, machine layout, SMV, plan production, manpower allocation etc. with all related persons.
- Ensure operation bulletin and re-engineering or balancing the bulletin for better productivity in sewing & finishing.
- Work with the Planning & Merchandising dept. to get correct loading to the floor.
- Follow-up daily productivity to ensure on-time shipment.
- Plan layout of machines and line to get highest productivity by using IE tools/methods.
- Follow-up machine balance of factory which reduce excess rented machine.
- Measuring accurate factory efficiency, line performance, changeover effectiveness, capacity study, time & motion study, machine breakdown etc.
- Requesting machines and attachment requirement well in advance based on scheduled production plan.
- Help floor staff to do effective line layout according to Operation Bulletin and improve line balancing for smooth workflow.
- Daily manpower balancing, target setting & achievement monitoring.
- Find out bottleneck area and analysis and stick to the problem until settle and clear .
- Identify critical path, conducting capacity study, production study, method study to ensure smooth production flow.
- Make the consumption report for thread/Piping/Twill tape etc.
- Any other relevant task assigned by management.
