Responsibilities & Context
- Design product packaging for individual products, products in a product line, or an entire product line, using CAD software like Pro-E, CATIA, Solidworks, AutoCAD and ANSYS.
- Identify and assemble finished artwork based on the brand’s visual guidelines and style guides.
- Study design briefs and determine SKU wise product packaging requirements through the collaborating with concern department.
- Evaluate packaging concepts, product needs, and branding in order to design a package that most effectively fulfills all objectives.
- Create layouts for packaging designs, using drafting, illustration, or 3D design software.
- Master knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, printing techniques, and international standards.
- Organize CAD files, manage resources, and communicate with clients and vendors.
- Create mock-up and visual designs to communicate conceptual ideas to brand team.
