Responsibilities & Context
- To check CBD, Fund Management, Contract, and export LC.
- To Open Back-to-Back LC, Machinery LC Import bill follow up with Maturity date as well as supplier payment Handling all Import clearance.
- Maintain constant communication with external agents (EPZ’s, Customs, Shipping Agents, C&F, Banks etc.) and follow-up with status updates to minimize possibility of errors/delays.
- Checking PI, HS Code (Fabrics, Yarn, Dyes, Chemical Machinery and Spare Parts) of suppliers, to provide LC in a timely manner.
- Prepare and monitor party acceptance of local BTB LC.
- To properly maintain issuing documents and given then bank acceptance for local BTB LC timely.
- Import follow-up.
- Follow up with merchandising on all import related issues.
- Cover note collection from insurance company.
- Record keeping of B/E.
- Monthly checking marine insurance bill and provide the Accounts and Finances Dept. for payment settlement.
