Requirements

Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management, Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Management, Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Accounting

Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management

Experience

Responsibilities & Context

  • Prepare the “Purchase order” & sent it to the shipper/ supplier after getting the requisition from the PM (Product Manager).
  • Communicate with the product manager regarding PI (Proforma Invoice) issues & collect their confirmation before opening L/C and inform the shipment status accordingly.
  • Prepare the PI (Proforma Invoice) before opening the L/C in case of 3rd party shipment issue.
  • Communicate with banker regarding L/C / shipping documents/ payment issue as per need.
  • Corresponding with exporters/suppliers for L/C, shipment issue, negotiation documents & others related issues as per need.
  • Communicating with forwarder for vessel schedule & time to time follow up with them.
  • Monitoring the shipping status with suppliers and freight forwarder until goods arrive at our end [CTG /Dhaka port/ICD].
  • Checking the shipping documents (invoice, packing list, B/L, COO etc.) & confirm to the shipper accordingly.
  • Prepare the Export documents i.e. Invoice, packing list, Beneficiary Certificate, Shipment Advice, Bill of Exchange etc. in case of 3rd party shipment issue to avoid any kind of discrepancy & expedite the documentation process smoothly.
  • Communicate with forwarder and C & F agent time to time in case of emergency shipment, especially in Air shipments issue as per requirements.
  • Prepare cost sheet of imported goods and give entry of LIM stock-In in software after arrival of consignment in warehouse.
  • Maintain data sheet for L/C status, Spare Parts Report & CN Report accordingly.
  • Coordination & Cooperation with Inter Department & others Departments in need.
