Responsibilities & Context

• Developing a positive relationship with customers, as well as making customer satisfaction a priority to ensure no repeat work.
• Ascertains vehicle problems and services by listening to customer’s description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives by foreman; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.
• Prepare a list of problems, the estimates and the time taken to complete the repairs.
• Assigns service to specific mechanic. Or to foreman·
• Supports mechanics in finishing repairs.In case of additional repairs inform the customers promptly.
• Consult with mechanics regarding appropriate service options·        Explain all service options to customers including time and cost estimate·
• Produce repair orders for customers, including cost and time estimates, with full transparency·
• Communicate frequently with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work·
• Follow up with customers on the status of their vehicle, based on how the customer wants to be informed·
• Answers questions ask by customers regarding repair.
• Maintains electronic and/or paper records of completed service work.
• Explains the work completed by mechanics and makes suggestion for future maintenance.
• Provides billing statements and explains billing details.
• Explain process to clients so they understand what to expect and when their automotive will be repaired·
• Contact customers to remind them of scheduled maintenance appointments·
• Inspects work completed by mechanics.Test drives by foreman vehicle before returning it to the customer·
• Enters customer information into system database.
• Inspects vehicle to further analyze the problem.·        Advises customer on necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Works with customer to formulate the best service plan for their budget and needs.
• Connect customers with appropriate automotive mechanic or technician·
• Perform post-service inspection with customers and answer any questions they may have·
• Perform customer service duties i.e. answering the phone, scheduling service appointments, and calling customers to inform them their vehicles are ready for pick up·
• Manage shop workflow and schedule for mechanics and technicians·
• Maintain workshop staff Register book·
• Recover and follow up the outstanding pending bill by telephonic or if needed meeting personally.
• Establish with old and new customer by personally presenting·
• Selecting suitable vendors for parts at an economical level for the company·
• Look after daily operations, maintain safety, ensure general discipline, recommending and creating improved courses of action according to guidelines of management·
• Perform related duties as assigned·
