Requirements

Education

  • Master’s in any discipline from reputed university with no third division in academic records.
  • Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) certification or Chartered Accountancy (CC / partly qualified) will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • 2 (two) to 6 (six) years working experience in commercial Bank/NBFI/leading corporates/MNCs in relevant area.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Grade: Junior Officer to Senior Officer

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Calculate income tax on salary of all employees and to deduct at source from monthly salary.
  • Prepare statement regarding payment of salary and return of employees as per Income Tax Act and Rules.
  • Assist in monthly salary disbursement of employees of the bank.
  • Assist in preparing various certificates i.e. Tax Certificate, Provident Fund Statement, Letter of Introduction, Salary Certificate etc.
  • Process Travelling Allowance (TA) and Daily Allowance (DA) Bills.
  • Assist in employees’ separation process and provide necessary letters to the employees.
  • Conduct exit interview and prepare exit analysis.
  • Manage employees’ life and health insurance as per policy / agreement.
  • Assist in process of various employees’ Benefits, e.g. employees’ Car Loan, House Building Loan, Furniture Benefits and Mobile Bill Allowances.
  • Support in employees’ bonuses disbursement i.e. festival bonus, incentive/ performance bonus along with other allowances.
  • Input and update information in Human Resource software.
  • Assist in preparing various HR related reports (monthly, quarterly and semi-annually).
  • Assist in Performance Management system of the Bank.
