Responsibilities & Context

Mariners Group BD is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor/Creator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that aligns with our brand’s vision. This role requires a strong background in motion graphics, video editing, and DSLR camera operation, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, edit, and produce high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.
Develop and implement motion graphics for video content that enhances the storytelling and visual appeal.
Operate DSLR cameras and other video equipment to capture high-quality footage.
Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project objectives and deliver videos that meet the company’s needs.
Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent style and tone.
Manage video projects from concept to final production, ensuring timely delivery and high standards of quality.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in video editing, motion graphics, and content creation.
Organize and maintain video files, project assets, and archives.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Video Editor/Creator, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in video editing and motion graphics.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
Strong understanding of motion graphics and animation principles.
Expertise in operating DSLR cameras and other video production equipment.
Knowledge of video compression and optimization for different platforms is a plus.
Experience in color grading and sound design is desirable.
