Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide strategic direction and operational oversight for programme interventions in Coxs Bazar and Uttara, ensuring the implementation of projects while maintaining high quality, donor compliance, and financial management. Additionally, the role involves spearheading thought leadership at the BRAC Career Hub.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide the geo-location-based programmes strategy formulation and operational decision-making through comprehensive analysis, synthesizing field insights, and recommending practical solutions.
  • Oversee project implementation to ensure high quality, donor compliance, and financial management, achieving programmatic targets in selected divisions.
  • Coach the Divisional Managers to enhance their leadership skills, optimize team performance, and effectively implement programme strategies such as, increasing women participation in management positions, to drive success and achieve targets.
  • Foster cross-departmental coordination by facilitating communication, aligning goals, and streamlining processes to enhance collaboration and maximize efficiency across all programme functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate donor reporting by collaborating with Project Coordinators, writing and reviewing narrative and financial reports, and maintaining high standards for quality and punctuality in all submissions
  • Represent BRAC in project field visits involving donors and government officials
  • Collaborate closely with various supporting partners to develop and implement strategies to scale up the offline segment of the BRAC Career Hub.
  • Establish effective project communication plans for BRAC Career Hub and ensuring their execution in collaboration with the BRAC & SDP communication team.
  • Facilitate effective monitoring, documentation and reporting to ensure compliance with programme agreements and expected standards.
  • Supervise Divisional Managers and Deputy Managers, focusing on performance outcomes by providing feedback, guidance, and support.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
