Responsibilities & Context

READI-Research Evaluation and Development Initiative, a national NGO, is working for developing the condition and position of the target participants in different districts on various issues including human rights and gender, health hygiene & nutrition, education, WASH, climate change, skills and employment generation since 2015. READI is going to implement a project title ‘Empowering Opportunity of Women Engaging in RMG (POWER)’ funded by Oxfam and co-funded by EU. In this project READI is going to recruit the right person in the above position for the project period.

Position Summary:

Project Facilitator will be responsible to facilitate of quality implementation of the project activities for the selected area. S/he will directly work with CBOs, factory management, Women workers, government institutions as well as relevant stakeholder who have similar activities for Home based RMG workers. S/he will prepare annual work plan as project implementation plan (PIP), review its progress against key performance indicators (KPI) and targets. S/he will regularly organize to day-to-day implementation and support to the Finance team for ensuring necessary supports. The Position will report to the Project Coordinator of POWER project and maintain functional relationship with READI and OXFAM.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepared project implementation action plan including Project activities and Development of monthly, quarterly plan and annual plan.
  • Discuss plan activities and achievement regular basis with supervisor
  • Ensure all project activities successfully completed by both Oxfam and partners according to project design
  • Support Baseline, midterm and End line Survey and reports.
  • Formation of CBOs as per project strategy and make functioning
  • Create change makers/peer educators at Community
  • Conduct awareness session, meeting and discussion at community
  • Facilitation of regular planned meeting and training with different groups, committees.
  • Communicate with the CBOs, community people & local counterpart on a regular basis.
  • Organize campaign/awareness activities
  • Prepared all kind of communication materials including BCC & IEC and resource personnel
  • Generate new and innovative ideas for effective implementation of project activities
  • To create enabling environment for ensuring participation of HBRMG workers, community and counterpart in project activities and problem identify and solving local problems.
  • Coordinate with field level GOs/NGOs.
  • Visit and motivate project target participants
  • Regular financial transitions to ensure activities implementation
  • Prepare the budget and expenditure and Manage advance and adjust as per financial policy
  • Regular monitor to collect and compile data to ensure regular process, progress and impact monitoring.
  • Support Procurement committee for timely and quality procurements in a participatory approach with CBOs, Community people and other stakeholders.
  • Represent as focal for the project at internal and external forums/ networks; establishing and maintaining contact with range of organizations and individuals who can support the project.
  • Responsible for documenting experiences, preparing reports, case stories, Event reports presentations, management and donor.
  • Keep communication among the project team and READI’s HQ
  • Reporting as per organization and project requirement

Compensation & Other Benefits

Salary and benefits: BDT. 30000.00 (Thirty thousand only) gross salary plus other admissible benefits as per organization and project policy.
