Responsibilities & Context
ü Develop new buyers and identify key prospects to expand our client base.ü Maintain open and consistent communication with buyers throughout all stages of the buying process, staying attuned to their clothing marketing needs. ü Prepare quotation sheets to offer competitive prices to buyers while maximizing profit margins.ü Create monthly capacity booking status reports based on production hours, aiming for on-time shipment and minimizing overtime and night shifts. Order Allocation: Upon receiving a new order, allocate the order to the appropriate Merchandiser who will oversee the account successfully.ü Monitor all pre and post-production stages, including fabric and accessories booking, quality control, cutting schedules, production lead times, quality measures, pre-inspection, shipment status, and payment follow-up.ü Verify all details, including price, shipment dates, and mode of transport, in the Master Letter of Credit (L/C) against the Purchase Order (P.O.).ü Be proactive in addressing issues and challenges, and actively collaborate as a team player.
