The role:

  • Oxfam, in partnership with Plan International, seeks to hire two (02) Training Management Experts for the upcoming EARN project (Economic Acceleration and Resilience for NEET youth), funded by the World Bank. The EARN Project in Bangladesh aims to economically engage NEET youth, particularly women, in rural and semi-urban areas. It offers education, skills development, and women-centric facilities, along with employment and enterprise support. The project also focuses on enhancing employability through employer linkages, upskilling in Socio-Emotional Behavior (SEB) and Entrepreneur Development (ED), and providing incubation support for employment and entrepreneurship. To ensure participation of women and other underserved groups, the project will promote an enabling environment through awareness programs, family-based planning, counseling, and community involvement in planning and monitoring. The Training Management Expert will play a crucial role in advancing Oxfam’s mission in Bangladesh by designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that empower girls, young women, and marginalized groups. This role ensures that stakeholders, including partner organizations, government officials, and community members, receive high-quality training and capacity-building support to promote children’s rights and gender equality.

Compensation & Other Benefits

  • As per Oxfam National C1 pay band, starting annual salary for this role is BDT 2,918,255.00 (13 months) with other benefits e.g., medical for self, spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave, life insurance, mobile allowance, and other admissible benefits as per the organizational policy. For highly competent & experienced candidates the salary can be negotiable.
