Responsibilities & Context

One of the leading Multinational Shipping Company invites applications from qualified candidates for the following posts.

We are looking for a dynamic, diligent Marketing & Salesperson with sound Shipping knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on import business and achieving sales targets for imports from around the world to Bangladesh. Conduct regular meetings with customers, agents, and stakeholders to strengthen business relationships and address operational challenges. Report to the department head.
  • Ensure cargo allocation, prioritizing based on profitability and alignment with company objectives.
  • Coordinate with Global Offices, Handle matters such as tariff filings and rate negotiations. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Generate and manage comprehensive service contracts for imports to Bangladesh. Negotiate contract terms to ensure profitability and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Aid the team in data-driven decision-making processes. Utilize advanced analytics tools to interpret data and present insights.
  • Analyze results and recommend actions to enhance trade growth. Keep track of volume forecasts to ensure optimal import flow.
  • Stay updated on international trade regulations and customs requirements. Implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
  • Make informed decisions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction in collaboration with the import customer service team. Implement process improvements and best practices.
