Responsibilities & Context

Report to Principal – Nursing college

Hostel Management:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hostel, including room assignments, maintenance, and security.
• Ensuring that hostel rules and regulations are followed by all residents.
• Handling student complaints and grievances in a timely and effective manner.

Student Welfare:

• Providing support and guidance to students, addressing their needs and concerns.
• Monitoring student attendance and academic performance.
• Organizing social and cultural activities for students.

Maintenance and Security:

• Ensuring the upkeep of the hostel facilities, including common areas, rooms, and equipment.
• Coordinating maintenance and repair work as needed.
• Implementing security measures to safeguard the hostel and its residents.

Staff Supervision:

• Managing and supervising hostel staff, including housekeeping, security personnel, and other support staff.
• Ensuring that staff are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.

Financial Management:

• Overseeing the hostel’s budget and ensuring that expenses are within limits.
• Collecting hostel fees and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Any assigned job by Management.
