Responsibilities & Context
Report to Principal – Nursing college
Hostel Management:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hostel, including room assignments, maintenance, and security.
- Ensuring that hostel rules and regulations are followed by all residents.
- Handling student complaints and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
Student Welfare:
- Providing support and guidance to students, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Monitoring student attendance and academic performance.
- Organizing social and cultural activities for students.
Maintenance and Security:
- Ensuring the upkeep of the hostel facilities, including common areas, rooms, and equipment.
- Coordinating maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Implementing security measures to safeguard the hostel and its residents.
Staff Supervision:
- Managing and supervising hostel staff, including housekeeping, security personnel, and other support staff.
- Ensuring that staff are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.
Financial Management:
- Overseeing the hostel’s budget and ensuring that expenses are within limits.
- Collecting hostel fees and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Any assigned job by Management.
