Must have an excellent knowledge of electronics and electrical system, as well as technology.
To be able to work as part of a team and have strong communication skills, as part of the responsibilities of an automation engineer may be to interact and interface with employs from other departments, and also with teams in the field, customer & sometimes vendors and consultants.
To Identify, cost justify, design, implement and manage new manufacturing automation system and equipment to improve plant productivity and reduce labor.
To have capability writing details technical specifications for PLC interface and automation on equipment.
