We are seeking an experienced and talented Sr. Executive/Executive Merchandising to join our dynamic team at Knit Asia Limited situated at Gazipur. As a key player in our merchandising department, you will work closely with the Team Lead to ensure the seamless execution of our production processes, from order confirmation to final shipment. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to quality, timely delivery, and client satisfaction. Your expertise in managing orders, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers will be critical to our ongoing success in the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) industry.
Responsibilities:
Order Management:
- Manage the entire merchandising process from order confirmation to shipment.
- Coordinate with buyers and production teams to ensure orders are executed accurately and on time.
- Monitor order status and update all stakeholders regularly.
Product Development:
- Work closely with the design and development teams to create samples as per buyer requirements.
- Review and approve samples, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Provide input on product improvements and innovation to meet market trends.
Supplier Coordination:
- Liaise with fabric and accessory suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and favorable terms.
Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Ensure clear and effective communication with clients regarding order status, changes, and delivery schedules.
Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that all products meet the required quality standards.
- Address any quality issues with urgency and coordinate corrective actions with the production team.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all merchandising activities, including order details, correspondence, and quality reports.
- Prepare regular reports on order status, production schedules, and inventory levels for management review.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Provide guidance and support to junior merchandisers and other team members.
Problem-Solving:
- Identify potential issues in the production process and develop solutions to prevent delays or quality issues.
- Take initiative to improve processes and reduce lead times.
Market Analysis:
- Stay updated on market trends and buyer preferences to anticipate changes in demand.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management on new business opportunities.
