Job Responsibilities of Sr. Back-End Developer
Develop and Maintain Web Applications:
- Build responsive and high-performance web applications using ReactJS.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Code Quality and Best Practices:
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services.
- Collaborate with designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and decision-making.
Performance Optimization:
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
Testing and Debugging:
- Write unit tests using tools like Jest, Mocha, or similar.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues reported by QA or end-users.
- Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
Stay Updated with Industry Trends:
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in frontend development and ReactJS.
- Share knowledge and expertise with the team.
Documentation:
- Document application changes and develop updates for user documentation.
- Maintain technical documentation for code and API integrations.
User Experience Enhancement:
- Continuously improve the user experience by refining and enhancing existing interfaces.
- Implement innovative solutions to enhance user interaction and engagement.
Version Control:
- Use version control systems like Git for efficient collaboration and code management.
- Create and manage pull requests for code changes.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Participate in the CI/CD process to ensure smooth deployment of new features and updates.
- Work with DevOps to set up and maintain build pipelines.
Accessibility Compliance:
- Ensure web applications are accessible and comply with relevant standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG).
Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
- Address client feedback and implement necessary changes.
