Experience: At least 3-5 years experience in the relevant field in any international or national NGO. Candidates with experience in integrated community development approaches will be given priority. Must be capable of independently writing reports in English.
Additional:
Computer Skills: Must be skilled in Windows 2010, Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, presentation, Microsoft Office 365, computerized filling, English & Bangla typing, and document filing on the computers, etc.
Valid Motorcycle License: Capable of riding motorcycle and possessing a valid motorcycle license.
References: Two referees with email and mobile numbers (One of the referees must be the immediate professional supervisor)

Responsibilities & Context
Faith in Action is a national non-governmental organization (NGO) that operates in over 10 districts in Bangladesh. Our primary focus is on climate change and integrated, sustainable, and transformative community development. We specifically target the most vulnerable communities, including climate victims, trafficking survivors, women at risk of trafficking, children, adolescents, youth, and persons with disabilities. We recently received a five-year project in Gabura Union, Shyamnagar Upazila, Satkhira district. The project aims to enhance food security and promote sustainable livelihoods for a climate-resilient community (CRC) to promote food security and sustainable livelihood. To achieve our project goals and objectives, Faith in Action is seeking a MEAL Officer. The position is subject to the following terms and conditions.
Location: Gabura Union, Shyamnagar Upazila, Satkhira District
Probation Period: As per organizational policy
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for achieving the project goals and objectives as a member of the project team by fulfilling the roles and responsibilities outlined in the job description.
- Establishing and overseeing a functional MEAL system for the project i.e. develop monitoring tools, format, set up success indicators, and monitor PMF to ensure that the project is on track and achieving its goal and objectives.
- Provide training to the field staff.
- Conduct study and research and guide the management in the right direction.
- Seek market opportunities and connect producers with markets.
- Prepare reports and submit them to the concerned authorities.
- Documentation of best practices and learning
- Build the community’s capacity of the People’s institutions.
