Responsibilities & Context
- Oversee oil receiving activities from ships, ensuring thorough inspection, measurement, and accurate data recording.
- Receive and manage various materials such as Raw Materials (RM), consumables, and spares.
- Stock and record all received materials, assisting the Store In-Charge in preparing quality reports.
- Update the daily stock levels of Raw Materials (RM) and Finished Goods (FG).
- Maintain accurate records of material receipts and consumption.
- Issue materials as per indents received for various works and departments.
- Provide general supervision on-site, ensuring materials are used efficiently and minimizing wastage or improper use.
- Prepare daily, fortnightly, and monthly consumption reports by physically counting stock.
- Forecast material requirements based on consumption patterns and inform relevant personnel to raise indents accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of departmental tools, machinery, spares, and equipment on-site.
- Update stock records periodically to reflect current inventory levels.
- Monitor and control delivery activities, from transportation receiving to unloading and loading.
