- Ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between various departments within the organization.
- Organizing and leading meetings, workshops, and events that bring together diverse stakeholders to discuss and resolve issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate project goals, progress, and challenges to various audiences.
- Ability to prepare detailed reports, briefs, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicating effectively in a culturally diverse environment, understanding the nuances and adapting messages accordingly.
- Ability to develop and implement detailed action plans to achieve strategic objectives.
- Understanding of M&E frameworks to assess the impact of networking and coordination activities.
- Experience in designing and implementing capacity-building activities, such as training, workshops, and mentoring programs.
- Understanding of the technical aspects of the project, allowing for effective communication with subject matter experts.
- Experience with USAID-funded projects is a plus
- Strong partnership management skills with sound understanding on interagency collaboration and partnerships
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Sound understanding on Grand Bargain, Charter for Change, Principles of Partnership commitments along with Core Humanitarian, SPHERE standards and IFRC Code of Conduct

Start Fund Bangladesh (SFB) is a civil society managed rapid emergency response pooled funding mechanism. It releases funding within 72 hours of a crisis alert, and it is accessible to local, national, and international member NGOs operating in Bangladesh to respond early to under the radar emergencies. The Programme has evolved since its inception in 2017 and currently implementing other programs i.e., Start Fund ,Disaster Risk Financing and Organizational System Strengthening.
The Opportunity
The Senior Officer – Networking and Coordination will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and coordination among project partners, local government authorities, donors, localization technical working group, need assessment working group (NAWG) and the Start Fund project team. This position is responsible for managing events such as training sessions and workshops, overseeing their scheduling, and ensuring follow-up with partners. Additionally, the Senior Officer will be responsible for knowledge management, ensuring that information is effectively captured, organized, and shared.
