Responsibilities & Context
- Communicate effectively with travel agencies, corporates, and clients.
- Increase sales for existing customers and generate new clients through personal sales visits.
- Market and sell airline tickets, holiday packages, visa assistance services, hotel bookings, and other travel-related services to corporate offices & travel agencies.
- Generate sales leads by visiting clients and contacting them over the phone to ensure smooth services round the clock and follow up effectively.
- Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments, making presentations, and understanding account requirements.
- Prepare quotes and necessary information for clients, colleagues, or authorities.
- Maintain documentation and records related to all sales activities.
- Should have decent knowledge of GDS & NDC Platform.
- Possess prior product expertise in GDS & NDC platforms, with a focus on providing comprehensive training and knowledge transfer to team members.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and updates within GDS & NDC platforms, and disseminate relevant information to the team to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to team members in navigating and troubleshooting issues within GDS & NDC platforms, fostering a culture of expertise and excellence.
- Should be Familiar with Re-Issue, Re-Validation, and Refund and up gradation.
- Effectively maintain and retain existing customers by building long-term relationships.
- Submit regular sales reports and updates.
- Set area targets and work diligently to achieve sales goals, demonstrating performance.
