Responsibilities & Context
BRB Hospitals Limited is seeking a qualified and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our Critical Care Department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to critically ill patients, ensure adherence to best practices, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in managing and caring for patients with respiratory disorders. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, administering respiratory therapies, and working closely with physicians and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care plans for critically ill patients.
Administer therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures, including mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and airway management.
Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and procedures.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of respiratory care protocols.
